USGP is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team in supporting active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Mayport, Florida. Position Highlights: * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM * Compensation: $35.00/hour + Health & Welfare Stipend * Benefits Include: * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Paid Time Off & Sick Leave Qualifications: * Education: * Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related * Graduate of a NAACLS, ABHES, or AMT-approved * Certification: * Current certification/registration with ASCP or * Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association or military equivalent). * Experience: * Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical laboratory Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain): * Hepatitis B (series and titer) * Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) * MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) * Varicella (Chickenpox) * TB (Tuberculosis) test * Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine * COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable) Key Responsibilities: * Perform a wide range of laboratory procedures across disciplines including chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, serology, microbiology, and * Evaluate specimen integrity and prepare samples for accurate * Prepare reagents, calibrate equipment, perform quality control procedures, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. * Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and * Maintain records for quality control and assurance in accordance with lab standards and protocols.
