Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- CVMC

The CVMC team is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Medicine practice in Berlin, VT. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional primary care and making a difference in the lives of patients, this is your opportunity!

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant shall work in collaboration with the practice providers and offer Primary Care for Family Medicine patients. This care includes history taking, physical exams, diagnoses, prescribing of medications, treatment plans and the appropriate use of ancillary services.

Education, Licensure, and Certifications

NP : Completion of a master's, post-master's, or doctorate from a nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Current certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or an equivalent body is required.

PA : Completion of an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) approved program (prior to January 2001 ? Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs). Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant should be licensed by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Experience

Two to three years' experience in Primary Care required.
