What You'll Do
Account for coding and abstracting of patient encounters, including diagnostic and procedural information, significant reportable elements, and complicationsResearch and analyze data needs for reimbursementAnalyze medical records and identify documentation deficienciesAssign codes for reimbursement; research and compliance with regulatory requirements utilizing guidelinesResearch and facilitate a plan of action to correct discrepancies and prevent future coding errorsMaintains the integrity and confidentiality of financial and protected patient filesPhysician credentialingServe as coding consultant to staff and providersWhat We're Looking For :
A high school diploma or equivalentCPC, CCSP, RIT or similar certification requiredMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar roleExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.Availability for full-time hours (40 / week)Primary location(s) : Appleton-Westhill ClinicWhy You'll Love Working Here :
