We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities :
- Guide managers and employees through conflict resolution processes to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage employee relations cases, including addressing behavioral and performance issues and supporting corrective action procedures.
- Investigate and respond to reports of harassment or discrimination, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and secure HR and employee relations data records.
- Facilitate local and global training programs and workshops to enhance team development.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and propose actionable improvements.
- Provide policy guidance to employees and managers, addressing inquiries and intervening when necessary.
- Collaborate on change management initiatives to ensure successful transitions within the organization.
- Execute termination processes related to employee relations cases.
- Develop and implement strategies to uphold organizational policies, including those on harassment, code of conduct, and disciplinary actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR functions, particularly in employee relations.
- Familiarity with harassment and discrimination laws, as well as other relevant employment regulations.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and a high level of integrity.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Experience conducting investigations and managing heavy employee relations caseloads.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training and policy implementation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
