DESCRIPTION

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide direct resident care, which includes monitoring residents' vital signs, administering medications and treatments, and assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating. LPNs also document residents' progress, communicate with families and other healthcare professionals, and ensure the comfort and safety of the residents. LPNs often act as a bridge between residents and the care team, advocating for residents' needs and providing emotional support. LPNs must be compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a variety of medical and personal care tasks to promote the well-being of the residents.
