Healthcare Setting : Main Hospital, 9 South Floor – MS Ortho 611 Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : January 12, 2026

End Date : April 13, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7PM – 7AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360–$1460

Open Positions : 3 Med / Surg RN jobs available

Unit Size : 20 beds, 1 : 5 nurse-to-patient ratio

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical / Surgical or surgical unit

Ability to independently manage a 5-patient assignment

Experience with EMR systems (Meditech preferred)

Pain management and orthopedic nursing experience preferred

Strong teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse medical-surgical patients, including elective orthopedic and trauma cases

Perform dressing changes, aspiration procedures, and pain management interventions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Meditech EMR

Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines
