Job Description

InfoDefense is seeking a seasoned Information Security Officer (ISO) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be a trusted advisor and drive customer satisfaction. A successful candidate must have a strong executive presence and be a seasoned cybersecurity though-leader with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to coordinate technical solution implementation. Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and the InfoDefense Service Delivery team
• Collaborate with the Sales Account Manager to ensure customer success
• Establish a trusted advisor relationship with customers
• Provide security consulting and risk assessments
• Translating business requirements into technical requirements
• Develop technical solutions and coordinate delivery
• Oversee cybersecurity program implementation while managing deliverable schedules
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations
• Coordinate and lead scenario-based incident response exercises
• Interpret regulatory and contractual security compliance requirements for customers
• Complete vendor security surveys for customers
• Define requirements for service-related orders with InfoDefense technology partners
• Schedule meetings, create agendas, and document meeting minutes

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical leadership experience
• 3 years of Information Security Officer (ISO) experience
• Fundamental understanding of NIST SP 800-171, CMMC 2.0, or any other regulatory standards
• Strong knowledge of network security, Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies
• Cyber Incident Response Experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Industry Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, Network+. CCNA, CEH, CISA, CISM, Fortinet NSE4, Microsoft 365
• Military service is a big plus

Travel

Minimal travel on a short-term basis may be required.
