Penmac Staffing is hiring a Plating Processor for a local manufacturing company. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates who are detail-oriented and eager to learn. Experience with electroplating is a plus, but on-the-job training is available. Shift and Pay

  • Schedule : Monday–Friday, 2 : 00pm–10 : 30pm
  • Pay : $18.60 per hour

Responsibilities for Plating Processor

  • Rack, clean, and immerse parts in plating solutions
  • Verify plating times, metals, and specifications
  • Load / unload plating barrels and inspect parts for quality
  • Operate plating lines and related equipment
  • Handle chemicals safely and follow all safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate part counts and quality checks
  • Collaborate with EHS and Quality departments to meet OSHA, EPA, and AS9100 standards
  • Report hazards and uphold company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Requirements for Plating Processor

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs frequently
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Comfortable working with chemicals and machinery
  • PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, apron)
  • Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

    • Working Conditions Work is performed in a lab environment with exposure to chemicals such as sulfuric and nitric acid, aluminum, copper, and gold. Proper PPE is required at all times.
