Overview

Cloud Access & Intelligence is a team focused on two primary areas : Unified Identity & Access Management and Smart Portfolio of Agents. This team builds scalable platforms that enable support engineers, administrators, and other personas to be more productive.

Responsibilities

Regularly tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team, from technical design to launch.

Partner across engineering teams to take on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects.

Routinely tackle complex architecture challenges and apply architectural standards, starting with new projects.

Work across senior engineering and product leaders to build strategy and design solutions to earn customers' trust and business.

Lead a large team of Principals to tackle some of the broadest impacting and technically complex problems with a platform mindset.

Collaborate across departments, linking technical solutions to business objectives, and enhancing productivity while maintaining operational quality.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

10+ years of experience working as a senior Software Engineer.

5+ years of experience acting as a Technical Lead for a team of engineers.

Experience with building scalable platforms.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence decision-making, and drive strategic initiatives across departments.

Proven ability and experience in being innovative and having measurable outcomes thereof.

Strong leadership skills necessary for driving technical roadmaps, mentoring senior engineers, and leading design reviews across the organization.

A background in consulting is beneficial, equipping candidates with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive tradeoffs effectively.

Ability to tackle ambiguous and complex problems creatively, with a focus on maintaining high standards of technical excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Identity Access Management Solutions is highly valued.

Experience with AI / ML and Gen AI is highly valuable.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are :

Zone A : $239,400 - $312,550

Zone B : $216,000 - $282,000

Zone C : $198,900 - $259,675

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
