A Day in the Life
Responsible for moving edible oil from railcars / trucks to storage tanks per the production schedule. Individual should have a working knowledge of production / rail equipment and safety requirements in a production / manufacturing / rail environment.
Position Details :
Monday Friday 2nd shift : (3p-11 : 30p) with occasional overtime as needed
Hourly pay rate - $25.88
What Youll Be Doing :
- Verify tank car or truck load numbers to ensure car placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions
- Sample trucks and railcars for lab analysis
- Operate railroad tank car or truck unloading equipment including pumps and hoses
- Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks coordinating activities with other workers
- Coordinate rail switch with the railroad
- Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped gauge readings and operating times manually or using computers
- Work from height and fall protection required
- Actively participate in the companys food safety and quality programs
- Additional duties as requested or assigned
