We are hiring a Therapist II (SLP / Aud) for one of our clients in New Lisbon, NJ .

Job Description :

  • Plan, direct, and conduct therapy programs designed to restore or improve communication efficiency.
  • Diagnose, evaluate, and treat language and speech impairments.
  • Provide referrals to medical specialists when needed.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to clients.
  • Write objectives, evaluations, and progress reports.

Desired Skills :

  • Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

    • Education, and / or Experience :

  • 4 years experience in applying the theory, principles, and techniques of speech-language therapy or audiology.
  • Must be able to lift, move, and position clients as needed.
  • Experience diagnosing, evaluating, and treating language and speech impairments.

    • Mandatory Skills / Certification(s) Requirement :

  • Current and valid license as a Speech Pathologist / Audiologist issued by the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Advisory Committee, Division of Consumer Affairs, Dept of Law and Public Safety.
  • Preference given to applicants that possess a Speech Language Pathologist License.
