The Clinical SME provides expert clinical knowledge and operational guidance during the deployment of a healthcare system across multiple sites. This role ensures that workflows, documentation practices and user adoption align with clinical standards and organizational goals, supporting a smooth transition during the active deployment phase.
Serve as the clinical operations subject matter expert during deployment to ensure system workflow, support, patient care and clinical practice and support of end-users with troubleshooting of Functional Issues
Act as a liaison between clinical staff and technical teams to ensure system configuration aligns with real world clinical needs.
Identify workflow gaps or issues and provide recommendations for improvements.
Assist with change management communication and stakeholder engagement at multiple deployment sites to ensure seamless communication and operational readiness.
Minimum qualifications:
4+ years of professional work experience
Ability to travel up to 70%
Assess information and knowledge-based needs of healthcare professionals and patients; characterizes, evaluates, and refines clinical processes; develops, implements, and refines clinical decision support systems, and leads or participates in the procurement, customization, development, implementation, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems, such as EHRs and order-entry systems.
Works independently.
Master's Degree Healthcare or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline is required, or an additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
