Job Title :  Program Facilitator

Type of Role :  (Contract to Hire)

Shift / Hours :  Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm) Flexibility required

Location :  Salinas, CA

Hourly Range :  $23 / Hour

Responsibilities :

• Helps to plan and implement age-appropriate activities for girls ages 8 to 12 based on the developmental needs of the girls.
• Helps coordinate and recruit participants for specified school sites and programs.
• Supervises girls during program activities and field trips.
• Assist in the supervision of Youth Leaders.
• Ensures that Youth Leaders communicate with participants.
• Assist girls in resolving conflict.
• Maintains positive relations with all related constituents including girls, guardians, volunteers, and other program staff.
• Communicates and coordinates activities with other staff.
• Attends regular staff development, team meetings and trainings.
• Prepares snacks for participants for each meeting / school.
• Works as a team member with Deputy Director and other Program Staff.
• May act as liaison between the organization and parents of participants.
• Participates in set-up, clean-up and decoration of site.
• Register new members.
• Keeps up to date with participant rosters / information and attendance records including database and session evaluations as required.
• Take payments for current members.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
