Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative at WonderBotz, you will achieve quarterly sales activity and lead generation targets. Conduct in-depth research on prospective clients to understand their operations, challenges, and the adoption of technology. Participate in strategic account planning and define territory strategies for maximum impact. Monitor competitors' offerings, pricing, and market trends to effectively position WonderBotz. Engage with partners to co-develop opportunities and expand market reach. Assist marketing campaigns by providing feedback on messaging, content, and targeted accounts. Key responsibilities for this role include developing and qualifying opportunities within our target enterprises, following a defined lead qualification process for inbound and outbound prospects using calls, emails, and digital outreach to meet daily / weekly activity goals, prospecting and identifying key executives at target companies and laying the foundation for a strong, long-lasting relationship, building and executing a territory plan to prioritize outreach and prospecting, creating email content, sending personalized emails to prospects on a daily basis and following up until lead maturity or disqualification, managing, tracking, and reporting your activities and results in CRM (such as HubSpot), focusing on a set of monthly target accounts that meet sales qualification criteria, working closely with our Sales team to set up meetings and build a healthy pipeline, ensuring a smooth lead handoff from the BDR team to Sales, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars, monitoring marketing campaigns, following up on prospect engagement, and converting interest into qualified opportunities, creating and monitoring deals created from events, marketing campaigns, inbounds, and sales efforts. This role will be responsible for outreach resulting in first calls and sales qualified leads (SQLs). First calls are a first qualifying meeting with a buyer that includes sales and the business development representatives. Sales qualified leads (SQLs) are validated opportunities with a clear buyer, timeline, and budget (typically within 39 months).
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field, 23 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in AI, SaaS, automation, or enterprise tech, a strong understanding of AI and automation technologies and their business applications, detail-oriented with effective follow-up, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently, ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value, proficiency with CRM software such as HubSpot, Zoho, or similar.
