Zaxby’s Assistant Manager will assist the General Manager in achieving goals related to sales, costs, profits, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Assistant Manager Job Description :

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to :

  • Ensure all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times. – Promote and reflect a positive work environment.
  • Ensure all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Zaxby's standards.
  • Lead team members and shift managers with a positive and effective attitude.
  • Provide training to team members in the areas of food preparation, service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Order and control inventory by forecasting and referring to past data.
  • Increase sales by providing a great product along with great customer service

Requirements

Assistant Manager Experience and Training Guidelines :

  • Age Requirement : at least 18 years old
  • Education : High School Diploma or GED
  • Citizenship Requirements : Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Experience Requirements : At least one year of management experience.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Office environment; work with computer and office equipment
  • Restaurant environment; work with advanced kitchen and front-of-house operational equipment; hazardous conditions
