Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, onsite pediatric occupational therapy opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Roxboro, NC. This contract position is designed to cover a maternity leave for approximately 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities include providing occupational therapy services primarily to elementary students, with some support for secondary students as needed. The role requires collaboration with educational staff to support students developmental and functional needs, ensuring individualized therapeutic interventions that promote participation in school activities.

Qualifications and desired experience :

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience
• Expertise in pediatric occupational therapy within school settings (K-12)
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse student needs across multiple grade levels
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
• Availability for full-time, onsite work during the school year contract duration
