Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Ypsilanti, MI. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 5, 2026. The position offers two openings : one focused on elementary students and the other on high school students, both requiring onsite presence.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide social work services tailored to the school-age population
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student well-being
  • Address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges impacting academic success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ply with school policies

Qualifications :

  • Must hold SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work OR MDE School Social Worker Credential
  • Experience working as a social worker in school settings, preferably K-12
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work collaboratively with school teams

    • Location : Ypsilanti, MI

    Job Duration : Contract through June 5, 2026

    Schedule : Full time, onsite in school setting
