Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital – Labor and Delivery Unit

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (18 : 00 – 06 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36–48 (prefer 48, will accept 36)

Weekend Coverage : Required

Orientation : 16 hours

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1940–$1990

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Indiana RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

Meditech charting experience preferred

Reference from a direct supervisor within the last 12 months (1 to submit, 2 to start; 1 charge is acceptable)

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed)

Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit

Monitor and assess mothers and infants throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary

Utilize Meditech for clinical charting and documentation

Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care

Participate in weekend and night shift coverage as scheduled
