Position Summary

This internship provides a hands-on, real-world Software Engineering experience for a highly motivated and analytical candidate. The intern will work directly with senior software engineers to design, debug, and test complex software systems on satellite communications platforms.

This position reports directly to the VP of Software & Security under the Space and Satellite segment, offering rare visibility and exposure for an intern-level role. Senior executives will set strategic direction and identify product features and strategy, while the intern will be hands on writing professional production software.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of experienced engineers to design and write code for a satellite modem.
• Use a variety of back-end and front-end programming languages including C, C++, Rust, or Javascript depending on the assigned project.
• Work independently to learn unfamiliar topics to gain an understanding of the system.

Required Education

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
