Remote Proofreader

A company is looking for a Proofreader responsible for quality control of product designs in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

Proofreads all orders for accuracy in size, layout, text, graphics, and spelling based on customer specifications

Ensures compliance with technical requirements and standards, and communicates necessary corrections

Tracks proofreading progress and assists in developing proofreading standards

Required Qualifications

Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Art, English, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years of proofreading experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign; Mac experience preferred

High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications

Willingness to travel occasionally, both locally and nationally
