Travel Nurse RN - Med / Surg / Telemetry - $2,121 per week in Indianapolis, IN

Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends during their contract. Refusal to float may result in termination of the contract. Travel nurses may be asked to precept and / or allow students to shadow them during their assignment. If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they are expected to make up the day during the pay period. If unable to make up during the pay period, the shift will be added to the end of the traveler's contract. Charge nurse responsibilities may be required based on operational needs with provided training and resources. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry and IV start. Travelers will be expected to float to different levels of care including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU. Staffing ratios are 1 : 5-6. Candidates must be able to provide care for adult and geriatric populations. Daily census may vary, and patient diagnoses can include cardiovascular surgical cases, arrhythmias, and CHF exacerbation. Floating is required of all travelers within the facility or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
