QUALIFICATION : Illinois Certification - Type 10, Speech and Language Impaired

REPORTS TO : Principal and Director of Special Services

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Provide speech and / or language evaluations as needed, such may be a part of the Case Study Evaluation.

2. Provide speech and language therapy.

3. Consult with classroom teachers and other special service staff.

4. Attend all Special Service Team meetings.

5. Prepare forms for the purpose of receiving reimbursement under IDEA funds.

6. Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : As per school calendar as required by the State Board of Education and approved by the Board of Education.

SALARY : To be established by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION : Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the negotiated agreement between the Board of Education and Teachers' Association and the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
