About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified Echo Tech in Whittier, California, 90602!

Pay Rate : $55.00 - $60.00 / Hourly.

Shift :  Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 15 : 30), Evening 5x8-Hour (14 : 00 - 22 : 00)

Summary : The Echo Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasounds to assist physicians in evaluating cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics. This includes obtaining transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms, documenting findings, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. The Cardiac Sonographer must demonstrate strong technical skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform complete and accurate transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) on adult and / or pediatric patients.
• Assist with or perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiography (exercise or pharmacologic).
• Greet, verify identity, and prepare patients for echocardiography procedures.
• Explain the exam process and address patient questions or concerns.
