Job Summary :
As a Dental Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various aspects of dental care at Care Alliance Dental Practice, providing compassionate support to patients.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist with dental care, including chairside support to the dentist.Perform front desk duties within the dental reception area.Expose dental x-rays accurately.Interview patients to evaluate their medical / dental history and record findings.Provide oral hygiene instructions and explain treatments to patients.Ensure operatory cleanliness and prepare tray setups by sterilizing instruments.Maintain an adequate supply of dental materials for smooth clinic operations.Perform general maintenance tasks within the clinic.Manage appointment scheduling and referrals for specialty treatment.Utilize practice management systems effectively.Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED along with completion of a Dental Assistant program.Radiology Certification required.BLS Certification necessary.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with dental record systems and digital x-ray technology.Ability to accurately transcribe dental terminology.Commitment to the mission of Care Alliance.Location : Include precise work address if applicable.
