We have a great opportunity for an Onsite Account Manager to join our team to support a key customer in Palo Alto and San Jose, CA.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Account Manager is a full-time assignment requiring management of calibration efforts at key customer locations in Palo Alto and San Jose.
- On all weekdays, whether on-site or off-site, the representative will be available to all customer & Trescal personnel by telephone or e-mail.
- Reports weekly on number of calibrations completed, tasks completed from previous week, tasks scheduled for current week, issues, and accomplishments.
- Runs weekly / monthly / quarterly review meetings with customer – as required – which includes key customer contacts & Trescal representatives and is driven by published agenda (e.g., on time calibration percentage, number units out of calibration, number units calibrated this week & last week, out of tolerance statics, etc.).
- Coordinates all aspects of calibration with customer's Metrology Manager, associated calibration custodians, and Subcontracts Administrator.
- Coordinates meeting with customer and Trescal representatives and management upon request.
- Works to ensure a high level of on time calibration.
- Runs recall analysis and proactively works recall list with calibration custodians to schedule calibrations.
- Performs contract changes as needed and supports customer with “new” equipment additions getting onboarded into the calibration database.
- Works with Trescal’s contracts department to evaluate capabilities for new test equipment.
- Maintains a list of all active units on the calibration program and database.
- Trains customer calibration custodians on Trescal portal.
- Drives increase in Trescal’s capabilities as required by customer reducing the amount of work sent to OSS. Provides customer equipment documentation, discusses requirements, and helps Trescal identify standards & process needs.
- Works with Trescal’s field service coordinator to ensure all “Field” units are loaded into field service calendar and communicated properly to customer.
- Tracks turnaround time (TAT) and reports statistics to customer.
- Works for continuous process improvements.
- Serves as the main point of contact for service-related issues and escalates problems as appropriate.
- Provides support to customer during Internal & External audits.
- Works to resolve billing issues, as necessary.
- Participates in training of backup staff on specific customer account management duties.
- Works with purchasing to monitor outside services (OSS) to ensure lowest cost & quickest turnaround.
- Tracks and supports Rental requests to ensure communication is provided in a timely manner; monitoring the process from request to delivery.
- Acts as the liaison between customer and Trescal
Requirements :
Ability to represent Trescal in a professional manner.Ability to regularly drive between customer sites and Trescal Silicon Valley.Must be available to start no later than 8 : 00 am, Monday through FridayMilitary background preferred (but not required)Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.Ability to work and collaborate with various departments at customer locations to address concerns as quickly as possible, utilizing all resources available.Must have the ability to work under pressure and have the flexibility to adapt to various Laboratory & Sales requirement and deadlines.Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills and in a fast-paced environment.Must have strong typing skills.Cross-functional team participation is required.Strong working knowledge on the use of database systems, including data entry, report generation, and maintenance of database integrity.We believe people are the most important part of every business, which is why we offer more than just great health insurance plans at a great rate.
