Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,434 per week in Fargo, ND

Job Title : Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Profession : RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour Day / Night rotation Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250 beds) License : RN license required (ND or compact state) Certifications : BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Min 1 year recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting. BLS certification must be current and from AHA. Experience in Level 1 trauma. Experience with EMR - Epic. Willingness to float to all medical / surgical units as needed. Description : Collaborates with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and knowledge. Utilizes appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. This is a 32-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit. Patients include adult medical / surgical patients, as well as those experiencing behavioral disturbances. All patient rooms are private and equipped with a bathroom / toilet. Wide variety of medical / surgical patients are cared for in the unit. Equipment utilized in this unit includes telemetry, monitors, bladder scanners, and automated medication dispensing systems. The nurse-patient ratio is 5 : 1 on days and 6 : 1 on nights. All clinicians must badge in and out. Scrub color is navy blue. Travelers cannot live within a specific radius of the facility. Previous work experience in this health system requires an end date of 6 months prior to the submission date. Cancellation may occur up to a certain limit during the assignment.
