• Conduct essential and advanced laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other specialties, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and adeptly prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new hires or students, and contribute to maintaining high laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace whilst complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable degree within the allied health field along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certification Expectations

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification required throughout your tenure.
