Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1200-$1230

Endoscopy Technician Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician or GI Technician

At least 1 completed travel healthcare assignment required

High-Level Disinfection (HLD) certification highly encouraged

No specific licensure / certification required for this endoscopy tech job

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and endoscopy equipment protocols

Key Responsibilities

Apply aseptic technique in all aspects of endoscopy equipment preparation, maintenance, and GI procedures

Monitor and maintain sterile or high-level disinfectant integrity for all endoscopy equipment

Disassemble, inspect, and maintain endoscopy and GI equipment and supplies

Perform pre-cleaning, leak testing, cleaning, high-level disinfection, and identify repairs for endoscopes

Follow hospital protocols for reprocessing and storing endoscopes and GI accessories

Calibrate endoscopy equipment and determine appropriate disinfection methods per manufacturer guidelines

Assist with ambulatory technician duties, including obtaining / documenting vital signs and patient transport
