Certified Medical Assistant Opportunity

Amergis is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant who is interested in working a 13-week contract (with possible extension & opportunity for internal offer) at an Oncology Clinic in Lisle, IL. Position : Certified Medical Assistant Pay Rate : $23 / hour Setting : Clinic Location : Lisle Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks (possible extension & opportunity to go on internally) Schedule : Monday Friday (no weekends) Shift : 8 : 30am - 5pm (Mon / Wed doctor sees patients until 6 : 00pm) CMA must be able to stay until all patients have been seen Responsibilities : Room patients Conduct phone calls to patients Review / complete patient paperwork Adapt quickly to a busy, fast-paced clinic Requirements : Possesses a Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, ARMA, or NHA 2+ years of Certified Medical Assistant experience Recent Oncology experience is preferred (not mandatory) Recent experience working with EMR EPIC is mandatory Benefits At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits : Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
