Responsibilities Position is in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting Care involves both labor, delivery, and postpartum patients Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts per week, 19 : 00-07 : 30 Requires working every other weekend or a total of 8 weekend shifts during the assignment No on-call requirement Floating within scope may be required, including to low-risk family birthing unit at another campus Assignment length is 13 weeks Epic EMR is strongly preferred Responsibilities include comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients in accordance with unit protocols Staffs with break RNs and resource RNs on the unit Orientation includes required modules during the first 8 hours; modules vary by specialty and are required annually First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requests for time off are limited to 7 days and must be submitted up front Required to adhere to the unit's dress code and maintain professional conduct Requirements Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for licensure; pending licenses accepted Minimum of 2 years recent labor and delivery experience, including postpartum care Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN Intermediate Experience staffing to AWHONN staffing standards Epic EMR experience preferred but will consider those without Epic if needed Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility (locals not accepted) Proof of address required for consideration Must submit two recent references, including at least one manager reference Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634720.
