Supervisor, Transportation Maintenance

McLane Company, a leader in supply chain management and distribution within the grocery and foodservice sectors, is seeking a dedicated Supervisor for Transportation Maintenance to ensure that all transportation and logistical operations are conducted with the highest level of efficiency and safety. Based in one of our sophisticated distribution centers, the Supervisor will oversee the maintenance activities of our transportation assets, ensuring that they meet all regulatory standards and company requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the flow of operations that support the supply of goods to a broad array of clientele including convenience stores and chain restaurants across the United States. Plan, direct, and evaluate the operations of the transportation maintenance department Ensure all transportation equipment is maintained in accordance with company standards and federal regulations Manage a team of maintenance technicians, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance programs Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with diagnostic equipment Control costs and optimize expenditures on equipment and parts Liaise with other departments to optimize logistics and supply chain strategies Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all maintenance activities Strong leadership and management skills Proficient in maintenance management systems and diagnostic tools Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Expert knowledge of mechanical systems and component functionalities Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications in Fleet Maintenance Management CDL License or relevant certification preferredaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
