Head, Section of Head and Neck Cancer Medical Oncology and Co-Director - Physician - Center of Excellence in Head & Neck Cancer - New York, NY

The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in collaboration with the Tisch Cancer Institute and Head and Neck Cancer Institute, are seeking a Physician to lead the section of Head and Neck Medical Oncology and Co-Director of the Head and Neck Cancer Center of Excellence for the Mount Sinai Health System.

The Tisch Cancer Institute is a P30-funded NCI-designated cancer center currently ranks 10

nationally in federal funding, and 12

th

nationwide in cancer care by U.S. News and World Report. The Head and Neck Cancer Institute is co-led by Eric Genden, MD, a renowned surgical oncologist, and Richard Baskt, MD, a radiation oncologist and physician scientist.

The applicant would have responsibility for oversight of patient care, clinical research, training and education programs involving head and neck cancer in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology. The applicant would be expected to become a member of the Cancer Clinical Investigations (CCI) program, one of 4 Tisch Cancer Institute research programs, and co-lead the Head & Neck Disease Focus Group (DFG), a multidisciplinary committee that provides oversight of clinical research in head and neck cancer.

Qualifications

Compensation range 375K - 450K (not including bonuses  /  incentive compensation or benefits)
