Position Overview
The Process Engineer will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations at our wire production facility. This position focuses on improving productivity, quality, safety, and cost-efficiency through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze production data and conduct root cause investigations to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Process Engineering Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the integration of new equipment, technologies, and product lines into existing manufacturing processes.
- Lead or support small-scale projects and contribute to larger engineering initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering and wire manufacturing.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.2–5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations (wire manufacturing experience preferred).Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Core Competencies
