Work closely with patients’ caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) through a Coaching Model. Maintains professional / technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities and upholds federal / state licensure and ethical expectations. Examines and evaluates children from birth to age 3 with a variety of congenital and orthopedic conditions to improve mobility through skilled gross motor interventions including but not limited to gait training, equipment and orthotic management, neuromuscular re-education, and therapeutic exercises. Our ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license). Evaluate children from birth to age 3 for fine motor development, visual motor development, sensory processing and modulation differences, executive functioning skills, and more in order to determine impact on activities of daily living (ADLs), rest and sleep, education, play, leisure, and social participation. Our ideal candidate holds a masters degree in Occupational Therapy and an applicable and current, unrestricted license to practice (or in the process of obtaining license). Evaluate and treat children from birth to age 3 for speech, language, oral motor, voice, fluency, articulation, or social communication disorders to achieve highest level of functioning and prevent regression.
