The Production Manager is a key member of the EDCO Products Manufacturing team. This full-time, exempt position is based in Hopkins and reports to the Director of Manufacturing. This is a position with normal working hours of Monday to Friday between 6 : 30AM - 4 : 00PM. This individual is responsible to plan, organize and control production to ensure that the required products are safely produced with the expected quality, lead time, and cost to meet all manufacturing goals.

• Assures a continuous improvement culture and mindset is applied to all areas of the production operation
• Assure a safe work environment for all employees and maintain a safe working record. Support EHS Manager on creation and sustainment of initiatives.
• Assure that a high level of quality is achieved through effective utilization of machines, materials, processes and people.
• Assure attainment of production schedule through proper staffing levels, machine uptime, material availability and efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Participate and drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics.
• Leads all production activities through supervisors and production leads.
• Overall production talent management including interviewing, making hiring recommendations, performance management and appraisal.
