The Kitchen Operations Specialist is the main connection between all BOH departments closing working with the Chef Team on operational and administrative matters. Reports to the FP&A Analyst.
- Supports the Executive Chef and the Chef Team with daily BOH operations
- Collects and distributes recipes and ingredients between outlets
- Enters and maintains recipes in Eatalys database software
- Guides the Chefs on ordering tracking costs and completing Interglobo Orders if urgent
- Maintains order guides logs transfer sheets and SOPs for BOH outlets
- Oversees monthly inventories : assists Chef Team in counting products entering data into our systems analyzing gaps
- Manages relationships with vendors assesses credits and shorts and works with Inventory Control to resolve issues
- Receives Purchase Orders from other stores and processes orders for shipment
- Acts as a liaison between all inter-store departments and BOH
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Hourly Rate : $20.00
Qualifications :
2 years experience involving kitchen operationsExceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detailDemonstrated flexibility to adapt to a dynamic ever-changing work environmentCulinary experience in professional kitchensGood knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of basic computer programs i.e. Microsoft Excel Word etc.Degree from a culinary arts training program preferredREQUIREMENTS :
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squattingAbility to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers ovens torches etc.Additional Information :
