IT Specialist

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Help Desk Specialist for our client, an aerospace manufacturer in LA! This is a long-term contract position based onsite in Los Angeles.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate has a strong background in supporting diverse operating systems and cloud-based tools, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations for end users. You’ll serve as a technical expert, handling escalations, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to the ongoing optimization of IT systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Tier 1–3 technical support for end users across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Manage and configure Intune for device management, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune administration.
• Familiarity with Slack, Jira, and related SaaS tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

This is a long term contract opportunity paying up to $42/hr, commensurate with experience.
