A company is looking for a Senior Database Architect to support the Department of Veterans Affairs' Enterprise Acquisition Systems Support program.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive database architecture and DBA support across the EASS eCMS portfolio
Architect, administer, and optimize SQL Server environments, including schema management and performance tuning
Collaborate with teams to ensure safe implementation and deployment of database changes
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field; or ten years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Five or more years of experience in senior-level database architecture and / or DBA roles
Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, relational data modeling, and T-SQL
Experience with data movement, reporting needs, and maintaining technical documentation
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance at the Tier 2 level
