Phlebotomist III - Float
Location : Waterbury, CT (covers multiple metro sites within 30 minutes or 30 miles)
⏳ Duration : 3 Months
Shift : Hours vary - must be available 6 AM-6 PM
Pay : $20-$22 / hr + mileage reimbursement
Required : Phlebotomy certificate
Job Summary
The Phlebotomist III - Float represents the face of the company at various patient service sites. This role draws high-quality blood samples, prepares specimens for testing, and ensures an excellent patient experience. The float position provides coverage at multiple locations and may support PSCs, IOPs, long-term care, mobile sites, and doctor's offices.
You will help guide on-site staff, support onboarding for new team members, and assist high-volume or specialty practices requiring strong phlebotomy, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
Education :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification required
