Physician Assistant, Urology- Fox Chase Cancer Center

Temple Health's FCCC Urology department is searching for a Physician Assistant to join the team! This role falls under the Fox Chase Cancer Center division.

Setting : Outpatient

Hours : Fulltime : M-F, 7 : 30am - 4 : 30pm | No On Call or Weekends

Location : Rotation betweenChestnut Hill, Fort Washington & Rockledge

Job Description :

The Physician Assistant provides medical care and care coordination, increases patient access and contributes to improved quality for patients across all disciplines in the Temple Health University System. The Physician Assistant practices medicine on healthcare teams with physicians and other providers to improve coordination of care and improve patient outcomes. The Physician Assistant takes medical histories, conducts physical exams, diagnoses and treats illnesses, orders and interprets tests, develops treatment plans, counsels on preventive care, assists in surgery and writes prescriptions all in accordance with their scope of practice, licensure guidelines, and in collaboration with the supervising physician.

Education :

Other Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Required

Experience :

1 year experience as a Physician Assistant Preferred

Licenses :

PA Medical Physician Asst Lic Required

Certified Physician Assistant Required
