Job Overview
This role is for an Azure Cloud Engineer in San Francisco, CA, on a 6‑12 month contract with a competitive pay rate. Key skills include Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and experience with Windows and Linux systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure Cloud Services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
- Implement and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD).
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage source code repositories using GIT and follow best practices for version control.
- Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor and implement alerting and performance optimization.
- Configure and manage Azure Backup or other relevant backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Administer and support Windows and Linux based systems in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Work with VMware infrastructure and integrate with Azure where required.
- Ensure high availability, security, scalability, and cost optimization of cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to support application deployments.
- Troubleshoot, deployment, and performance‑related issues.
