Requirements to Apply :
- National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT)
- Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists certification
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Experience in Polysomnography
- Associate degree or two-year technical program in Health Science or related field preferred
- Successful completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred
Job Overview : We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Polysomnographer to join our night shift team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive sleep disorder testing and provide care for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in various settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes respiratory care practitioners, sleep specialists, neurologists, and advanced practice providers to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Responsibilities :
Conduct sleep disorder testing, including polysomnography, CPAP / BiPAP titrations, MSLT, and MWT proceduresPrepare patients for studies, applying sensors and monitoring equipment accuratelyMonitor patients throughout the night to ensure data accuracy, comfort, and safetyRecognize and respond appropriately to critical sleep or respiratory eventsCalibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot sleep lab equipmentAnalyze and score sleep data for physician interpretationEducate patients on sleep hygiene, treatment adherence, and equipment useMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with policy and regulatory standardsWhat Are the Benefits?
