Volt is immediately hiring multiple entry level Mechanical Engineers in San Diego, CA.

As a Mechanical Engineer you may be involved with any of the following :

• Mechanical Systems Engineering : Creation of the Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P schematic illustration of the functional process relationship of piping, instrumentation and system equipment components; train in how to size valves, coolers, motors and piping; creation of parts, updating bills of materials and drawings to support production and customer needs; coordination with purchasing and suppliers to specify custom components and assist in resolution of technical issues
• Design Engineering : Create and maintain the Mechanical and Systems composite product design; dan cover one or more of composite disciplines; electrical, hydro-mechanical, controls manufacturing, software and display, this position is aimed at the maintenance of Mechanical and Hydro-Mechanical product design
• Controls Engineering : Assist in the selection of electrical hardware and placement of components within the control panel layout; creation of assembly drawings, accurate / timely bill of materials and manufacturing floor support for assembly and testing operations; development and improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures, and resolution of technical and manufacturing problems; frequently assists to select and specify components through communication with customers and suppliers alongside Sr Engineers; prepare and release drawings.

This is a full-time long term indefinite temp role with strong potential to go temp to hire with upward mobility.

Schedule : Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm plus overtime as needed.
