What You Will Do
Conduct thorough inspections of water and sewer mains, services, manholes, valves, hydrants, and fittings to ensure quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications.Verify proper trench preparation, bedding, backfilling, joint alignment, pressure testing, and other required field procedures.Maintain detailed daily documentation, including progress notes, field observations, contractor communications, and photo documentation.Identify substandard or non-conforming work and coordinate corrective actions with contractors, municipal representatives, and project managers.Communicate professionally with contractors, municipal personnel, utility operators, engineering staff, and stakeholders.Utilize digital tools including Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, and GPS equipment as needed for data collection and inspection reporting.What you Bring
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in water and sewer construction or inspection.Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and municipal standards independently.Strong field documentation and reporting skills.Proficiency using digital field tools (Survey123, ArcGIS, tablets, etc.).Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred Qualifications
PA DEP Water and Wastewater Operator License, Class B or higher.NICET certification in water / wastewater systems.Experience with municipal or authority-led water and sewer projects.GPS knowledge is a plus.Please Note
