Medical Lab Technician performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient

specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine to obtain data for use in diagnosis and

treatment of disease. Performs various microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, or

bacteriologic assays according to established standards. Calibrates and operates all instruments and

equipment according to preventive maintenance schedule.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

Microbiology experience

American Society for Clinical Pathology - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Successful completion of a supervised one year clinical internship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EPIC preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Housing : Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Its extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns : Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs. $3,500 / month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt. Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.

Misc : Not accepting any RTO Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation)
