Receptionist Position
We are looking for a dedicated receptionist to join our team in New York, New York. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize conference rooms by setting up furniture, audio/visual equipment, and refreshments as needed.
- Ensure conference rooms are cleaned and restored after each use, including returning borrowed items to vendors.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and catering areas, ensuring they are presentable at all times.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for catering supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Answer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and direct them to the appropriate parties in a courteous manner.
- Provide front desk support, greeting visitors and ensuring they have a positive experience.
- Handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, prioritizing responsibilities to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Assist with ad hoc office tasks to support overall operations.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in office services, preferably within hospitality or catering.
- Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and handling inbound calls.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with inventory management and maintaining supplies.
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and proper organization in shared spaces.
