[job_card.job_description]Acting as a supporting leader for individual contributors (Software engineers) in one or more small teams. Responsible for supporting the education and vision of the individuals in a team to align their direction and drive performance and outcomes. Foster and advocate for Lean-Agile ways of working. Lean-Agile change agent. People and skills management. Ensuring the product's technical excellence. Software and solution architecture. Recruitment and retention. Onboarding and training. Ensuring effective collaboration and communication with related functions. Hiring, mentoring, and managing performance within the team. Continuously improve delivery flow by advocating and implementing Lean-Agile practices. Monitoring and analyzing team performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. Providing regular reporting and metrics to the Director of Development to enable effective decision-making. Collaborating with the Director of Development, your peers and the Principal Engineer to align technical and product strategies. Overseeing the technical and architectural design processes. Overseeing the technical strategy implementation. Tracking the system performance according to Non-Functional requirements and ensuring adherence. Leading internal functional and cross-functional projects to optimize the development process. Highly self-motivated and results-oriented team player. 7+ years of experience in backend software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership position (Team Lead or Engineering Manager). Experience in people management and leading remote, cross-functional teams. Good Understanding of software development processes, including frontend and backend development, software testing, and CI / CD. Designing and implementing software solutions. Good understanding of the principles of building a reliable architecture. Experience with software development tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced level of English. Experience with a range of development processes (Kanban, Scrum, etc.). DevOps mindset. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Development experience in different programming languages.
