Job Description
Neurology Subspecialist opening - Cooperstown, NY Located at base of the Adirondack Mountains
- Seeking a full-time Neurologist to build a sub-specialized practice in one of the following areas : Neuromuscular, Seizure, Epilepsy, Movement Disorders or Headache.
- Position Details :
- Full-time, permanent
- Hospital employed
- Join an established group of neurologists in an academic setting
- Opportunity to develop a neurology subspecialty program
- Anticipated mix of specialty and general neurology, with at least 50% of the time in specialty
- Mostly in-person outpatient clinics with opportunities for some remote tele-neurology.
- Opportunity for academic appointment at Columbia University and teaching IM Residents and Medical Students
- Inpatient & Outpatient Tele-Neurology support from University of Rochester
- Very limited call; 2-4 days per month
- Full spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
- EMR-EPIC
- Salary Range : $240,000 - $340,000. This compensation range represents good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Health system offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
