We are looking for a Senior HVAC Design Engineer with a science & technology or healthcare focus in our dynamic New York City office.

As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer , you will be working on cutting edge projects in the Science and Technology as well as healthcare and Commercial space.

Some of your responsibilities as a Senior HVAC Design Engineer include the following :

• Lead the technical development of HVAC systems for large and complex projects including Science & Technology, Academic, and Commercial sector.
• Formulate design criteria, perform calculations, develop concept designs, specifications, and construction documents for high performance building systems
• Supervise and effectively manage technical development throughout all phases of design assuring tasks are completed in accordance with company standards and good engineering practice.
• Develops mechanical plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed on assigned tasks
• Technically involved in the resolution of design problems that may include performing filed investigation or inspections
• Knowledge and experience with mechanical calculations, equipment selection, ductwork layout, hydronic systems, and construction documents.
• Understand Revit to allow leadership and direction for the design teams.
• Attend field visits, develop visit reports, meet with contractors, as necessary.
• Mentorship of Junior Engineers.

The salary range for this position is commensurate with several factors including years of experience, type of experience, education, and professional registration, therefore total compensation is expected to range from $140,000 to $170,000.00.
