Job Description : The Program Scheduler Manager ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
Essential Functions :
- Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
- May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
- Manages manpower and mentorship requirements for scheduling group.
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organized manner required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Minimum 2 years experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update / maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, and CDRL deliveries.Minimum 2 years experience with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14 point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis - such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.Must be a US citizen.Preferred Additional Skills :
Active Secret security clearance.EVMS (Earned Value) experience.Strong communication and leadership skills (written, verbal, presentation).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables), Project, Word, and PowerPoint.Critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
